Andrew Lambert

Andrew Lambert is Laughton Professor of Naval History at King’s College London. He previously taught at Bristol Polytechnic, Greenwich, the Royal Naval Staff College, and the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst. Some of his books include ‘Nelson: Britannia’s God of War’ (2004) and ‘The Challenge: Britain Against America in the Naval War of 1812’ (2012), which won him the Anderson Medal.
