Barnabás Szabó is an Ax:son Johnson Institute for Statecraft and Diplomacy Post-doctoral Fellow at the Centre for Geopolitics at the University of Cambridge. He is an Affiliated Research Associate at Peterhouse. Szabó holds a PhD in Comparative History from Central European University (Budapest/Vienna). He also holds graduate degrees in International Relations, European Studies, and Nationalism Studies. His current research focuses on establishing the British and Spanish unions in the early eighteenth century.
