Bijan Omrani is the author of various books, chapters and articles on cultural history on areas ranging from Afghanistan and the Silk Road to Rome and Ancient Greece. He holds a doctorate in Greek tragedy and philosophy from the University of Exeter where he is an honorary associate research fellow. His latest book is God is an Englishman: Christianity and the Creation of England (Forum Press, 2025).
