Bill Emmott

Bill Emmott is a writer and consultant best known as Editor in Chief of The Economist (1993-2006) and for his books on Japan, Italy, Asia, globalisation, the future of the West and Taiwan. He is now a senior adviser on geopolitics to Montrose Associates, is chair of the Global Disinformation Index, is a trustee of the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin, is a non-executive director of The Irish Times, is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Centro Einaudi in Turin and is an Ushioda Fellow at Tokyo College, the University of Tokyo.
