Bill Emmott

Bill Emmott is a writer and consultant best known as Editor in Chief of The Economist (1993-2006) and for his 14 books on Japan, Italy, Asia, globalisation and the future of the West. He now chairs the trustees of the International Institute for Strategic Studies, is chair of the Japan Society of the U.K., is a senior adviser on geopolitics to Montrose Associates, is chair of the Global Disinformation Index, is chair of the International Trade Institute, is a trustee of the Chester Beatty Library and is an Ushioda Fellow at Tokyo College, the University of Tokyo.
