Charlie Laderman is Senior Lecturer in International History at King’s College, London, and a Research Fellow at the Foundation for Defence of Democracies. He is the co-author, together with Brendan Simms, of Hitler’s American Gamble: Pearl Harbor and Germany’s March to Global War (Basic Books and Penguin Press, 2021).
