Colm Murphy is a Senior Lecturer in British Politics at Queen Mary University of London and Deputy Director of Mile End Institute. A historian of modern British and Irish politics and political economy, he is working on a project exploring the crisis of British Keynesianism from 1973 to 1993. He is also the author of ‘Futures of Socialism: ‘Modernisation', the Labour Party, and the British Left, 1973–1997’ (2023).
