Sir David Omand is Visiting Professor at King's College London, where he lectures on security and intelligence issues. He was Director of the British signals intelligence agency GCHQ between 1996 and 1997, and, among numerous roles in British and international security, sat for seven years on the UK's Joint Intelligence Committee.
