Derek Turner is the author of several novels and a cultural history, Edge of England: Landfall in Lincolnshire (Hurst, 2022). He has also written for journals including the Spectator, Country Life, Unherd and the Guardian. He has just completed a book about English local identities and national identity, to be published in 2026.
