Gordon F. Sander

Gordon F. Sander is a journalist and historian based in Riga. He is the author of numerous books about the Nordic and Baltic regions, including the Hundred Day Winter War about the 1939-40 Winter War, The Finnish Front Line, about the 1961 Fenno-Soviet Note Crisis, and his forthcoming Shadowland: Finland 1940-41, about the controversial period between the Winter War armistice and Finland's decision to join Nazi Germany in the invasion of the USSR. He writes for The New York Review of Books.
