Jimena Canales is an expert in 19th and 20th century history of the physical sciences. She is the author of 'Simply Einstein (2021)' and 'Bedeviled: A Shadow History of Demons in Science (2020)' and is currently a faculty member of the Graduate College at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
