Marc Levinson

Marc Levinson is an independent historian and economist in Washington, D.C. His books include the award-winning history 'The Box: How the Shipping Container Made the World Smaller and the World Economy Bigger' and a history of the miserable 1970s, 'An Extraordinary Time: The End of the Postwar Boom and the Return of the Ordinary Economy'. His latest book 'The UPS Man: James E. Casey and the Creation of Modern Logistics', will be published in October.
