Peter Sies

Peter Sies is Associate Fellow at SAIS Europe. He researches questions of German grand strategy, focusing on the political, economic, and strategic factors that have shaped Germany’s approach to the Soviet Union and, later, Russia. His recent work focuses on West German-Soviet energy relations.
