David Cowan is co-editor of The Conservative Reader on Substack and a PhD Candidate in history at the University of Cambridge. He is also a non-resident fellow at the Foundation for American Innovation, honorary research fellow at the University of Buckingham, and visiting scholar at the Centre for Geopolitics.
