Jack Dickens is Commissioning Editor at Engelsberg Ideas. He is an historian and journalist with a particular interest in the geopolitics of Europe and the Middle East. He read History at Trinity College, Cambridge, and has a master’s degree in Modern Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Oxford. He is currently writing a book on the 1920 Iraqi Revolt, which will retell the story of this formative episode in Iraq's national history using both Iraqi and British documents.
