Joshua Rovner is associate professor of international relations at American University. His latest book is Strategy and Grand Strategy (IISS, Adelphi Series). Rovner is also the author of Fixing the Facts: National Security and the Politics of Intelligence (Cornell University Press), and the co-editor of Chaos in the Liberal Order: The Trump Presidency and International Politics in the Twenty-First Century (Columbia University Press), and Chaos Reconsidered: The Liberal Order and the Future of International Politics(Columbia University Press). He previously taught at the Southern Methodist University, the US Naval War College, and Columbia University. In 2018 and 2019 he served as scholar-in-residence at the National Security Agency and US Cyber Command.
