Richard Miles

Richard Miles is Professor of Roman History and Archaeology at the University of Sydney, where he is also the Pro Vice-Chancellor. He is the Academic Director of the Ancient North Africa Research Network. He has directed excavations in Carthage and Rome, and has written and presented a number of documentaries on the ancient world for television. His publications include 'Carthage Must Be Destroyed' and 'Ancient Worlds: the search for Western civilisation'.
