Shiraz Maher is a Reader in Non-State Actors in the Department of War Studies at King’s College London and co-Director of its International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (ICSR). Joana Cook is an Assistant Professor of Terrorism and Political Violence in the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs at Leiden University, and a Senior Project Manager at International Centre for Counter-Terrorism (ICCT).
