Suzana Herculano-Houzel

Suzana Herculano-Houzel is Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychology and Biological Sciences at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She was previously a faculty member at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She won the José Reis Prize for Science Communication in 2003 and was the first Brazilian speaker on TED Global, in 2013. Her publications include The Human Advantage: A New Understanding of How Our Brain Became Remarkable.
